Cambria Heights N.Y. :- The emphasis may be on the presidential election on November 8, but in just over a week, a slew of local elections will be held across various communities, in several states.
The elections will take place on Tuesday, September 13, and Candidates have fanned out across the various communities in search of votes. These races range from district leaders to State assembly representatives, and while the presidential and congressional races carry significant importance, local races should not be ignored.
Here in Cambria Heights, local resident Sabine French has been mounting an aggressive campaign in a bid to capture the 33rd Assembly District. The District comprises the communities of Bellrose, Hollis, Queens Village, St. Albans and Cambria Heights. Her team include Anthony Rivers ,male District leader part B, Female District Leader part A, Dymitra Entienne, and Oster Bryan male District leader Part A. In her profile Sabine points to her active membership in both the St. Albans and Cambria Heights Civic Associations, and her desire to improve the social services for seniors, advocate for better public school education, and to protect homeowners against foreclosures, and increased property taxes, among other things.
