Monday February 6, 2017 :- Patriots Quarter Back Tom Brady recorded the greatest come back in Super Bowl history to win the Vince Lombordi Trophy in Super Bowl 51 at the NRG Stadium in Houston Texas, yesterday.
Behind by 25 points in the third quarter, the New England Patriots scored an astonishing 31 un – answered points, including the final Touchdown in overtime to defeat the Atlanta Falcons 34 to 28. It was a remarkable comeback Victory never before achieved in the history of the Super Bowl.
The Falcons had raced to a 21 – 0 lead early in the game, and it seemed all over when they led 28 – 3 . But they made a couple of errors which the Patriots capitalized on to tie the score at 28 a piece. The win gave Brady his 5th Super Bowl title, the most by any QB in Football history.
For the capacity crowd, the game inside the NRG stadium was a classic thriller as the Falcons lived up to its billing of the best young team in the league all season. The team’s fast running offense and tight defense made life difficult for the Patriots in the early stage of the game.
Once Brady and the Patriots found their rhythm, however, things changed dramatically, as the Falcons seem to have no answer. The half time entertainment was led by Lady Gaga who delivered an electrifying and pleasing performance before the capacity crowd of 72,000.
Earlier, the crowd gave former president George H.W.Bush and first lady Barbara Bush a rousing welcome, as they spun the coin to start the game.
