Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton continued to make their case for their party’s nomination on Tuesday, 3 days before Saturday’s Carolina’s Democratic primary.
The candidates who participated in a CNN sponsored Town Hall meeting addressed a range of issues which were raised by voters at the event. Questions on race,the economy, student loan, income inequality, a reform of the criminal justice system and the high unemployment rate among minorities dominated the discussion.
With more than half of the the electorate in the South Carolina primary being African Americans, both candidate have been advocating policies geared towards that block of voters. They also fielded a number of questions from moderator Chris Cuomo.
