Wednesday, February 24 2016:
Sections of the southern states of Louisiana, Florida and Alabama were badly affected by at least 20 recorded Tornados late yesterday. The storms left 3 people dead and millions in damage across the states.
Houses, business and cars were destroyed. Power lines snapped as poles were uprooted in Pensacola Florida for example. Millions of people in the affected areas across all three states have meanwhile been left without electricity. Scores of crews were out this morning to begin the clean up process, as well as to restore electricity.
Weather forecasters meanwhile warned that parts of the US east coast will likely experienced similar weather conditions.
